Got SCAMMED by livspace

Earlier this year family decided to get interior work done from livspace, too bad they didn't do much due diligence and got swayed by their sweet talking designer and paid upfront amount. To add to the pain they've done very bad quality work not delivering what's being promised by their designers, delayed over 40 days and now not responding to rectification queries. if you believe fellow gv'er please RUN away from livspace or apparently the other startup in same space. Both of these have got awful reviews. Story of how they duped us, one fine evening dad gets an livspace advert (ft hero cricker) on his Instagram, as we had recently purchased a flat we had initially planned to just buy desks wardrobes beds and then move-in without any fuss. But after the sticker shock of 3bhk interiors for 5lkh from livspace, parents planned try out this interior design thing. Had went to one traditional end to end interior company they quoted 20lkhs for mid level stuff, so this was our anchor, next went to livspace they initially quoted 12lkh which then got hooked. They setup a meeting with young person who showed ppts and took some 25k on the spot now in hindsight it's a red flag and we were physiologically trapped and it never once crossed our mid before committing further, slowly they show more things, target mother specifically for kitchen inflated 8lkh now total quotation went to 20lkh, we paid by their terms and did explain all our requirements and confirmed every minute detail. But their execution was awful, poorest quality materials used for custom work. Improper measurements and mis aligned fixtures etc. and still the work was delayed. After we opened up with our friendly neighborhood carpenter we realised how much we got screwed. Eg, Billed BWR century ply used noname MR ply. Now we all are just sad, with lighter wallet.
