Got laid off because of office politics!

M,35 with 10 years of IT B2B marketing work ex. Got laid off this month because of petty office politics. So joined this company in Jan 23. All was going well until the person who hired me left the org and a new external person took the charge. She wanted senior level(20+ years) folks into marketing leadership team and decided to revamp the team. Got a couple of people from her earlier org for senior leadership roles. Also, a Salesperson who was a long timer at the current organisation and who was in my role 3 years back, decided to move back to marketing team as his Sales role was in danger. This led to the domino effect leading to my role getting redundant as my boss preferred the sales cum marketing person with 20 years workex. As a result - i got laid off! Mind you there was no issue with performance as i got an increment mid year because of excellent performance which is also mentioned in the role redundancy letter. Searching for Tech marketing role in the areas of Product marketing, demand generation preferably in Pune or remote roles. Appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks.

Last year March, I was hired as Growth & Marketing Lead in one of the companies abroad at 30LPA (Remote). Now, they are shutting the project I’m in and have received a notice. I’m a Marketer by profession with expertise in 0-1 growth in startups. I’ve 8 YOE. Now the problem is, 0-1 startups in India can’t afford me easily and other startups say I don’t have experience in series B and further kind of startups. If 0-1 have got good funding amount, they still want to hire someone who has experience of scaling Series A and further kind of startups. The basic chicken and egg problem. Although I’m trying to apply for the companies abroad, I’m super confused what should I do now. I’ve emergency funds to sustain 3 months but don’t want to rely on that.

I have been part of recent layoffs at early stage startup. I have 9 YOE across variety of categories in my previous organisation. Recently was working on to make startup succeed at ONDC since 2022. Any leads/Referrals/Intros welcome 🙏

Hey everyone, I hope you can help me out with this one query i have, is it fine to tell the interviewer that i got laid off when they ask why i am looking for a job change in this marker? I have been WFH for 2 years, have 6L in liquidity for runway i guess, idk if it's safe or not but how is the job market currently. Recently gave interview in a tier 1 product based company, got rejected in 2nd round as well so what should be my plan now? How to tackle this feeling of being incompetent and anxiety?
