Growth role worth joining ?

I am a Tech PM transitioning to Growth. Why? My belief 👉 Corporate earnings correlate with the revenue you generate. Growth contributes significantly to revenue 📈, unlike Tech PM, which is primarily a support role. Do comment your opinion on this 🤔💭

Well, Tech PM is not a support role. At good companies, you have to crack the tech requirements that gives your product an edge over your competitors. Growth PM - as vaguely as I know. you should put features into the product that improves revenue/retention, any specific metric. Could involve working hand in hand with Sales/Marketing. I would say TPM is significantly harder if you are not from tech bg. Better to try GPM.

Where to go after Product???

Hey folks, I'm wondering what kinda role I should pursue next after product management. I'm done with this role, works vary from company to company and team to team. It's tough to make people understand the difference between pre-PMF products & mature products, and how the metrics impact vary across the spectrum. And this completely changes the equation of your appraisal or your promotion as well. I don't see myself working in the same kind of role after 5 years. So I'm wondering what kinda role I should look out for? My general interests are more analytics & strategy centric. What do you guys think??

Those of you who managed to break into a PM role after upto 5 years of non-PM work ex, how did you go about it?

Tier 1 MBA, 5 years of consulting plus corp strategy experience, 2 years data science exp pre MBA. Current ctc around 45. Speaking to friends etc in the PM roles, I've developed an interest in the role. And would like to give it a fair shot. Just can't seem to figure out how. Any pointers would be really helpful.
