Has Flipkart received a blank cheque from Walmart?
Flipkart is trying to enter two different market segments at the same time: Quick Commerce and UPI. There are already proven players in the space and it isn't possible to enter these segments without loads of investment. I wonder what Flipkarts game plan is and how it is going to execute it
They had to enter Quick Commerce - they need it for tier 1 cities. They’re losing out on so much stuff being sold exclusively on blinkit / instamart / zepto or grocery stores but not flipkart/amazon. These apps are only adding more products in - you can buy phones, and other electronics like earphones on blinkit now - this is typical flipkart market that they’re eating away

Blinkit getting iPhones just took the cake. Plus better customer service of the QC players makes it even more important to not lose these customers

Phonepe is entering bullishly on ONDC.
Quick commerce is entering many categories.
