Hello guys,

Status: 1.7 yoe | Passout from Tier 3 Position: SDE1 at a product based company (Java Backend) CTC: 5.2 lpa I resigned from there in April because of personal health reasons plus the work environment and the pay did not suit me well. I was confident to find a better pay as compared to how/the amount of work I got done there in comparison to my peers but unfortunately I feel lost now. From last two months I am focussing on my DSA concepts, and now feel a bit confident to start interviewing again. One of my concern is will this type of career break impact seriously or is that acceptable to companies. Secondly, sometimes I also get confused on should I focus on the core subjects again thoroghly or just grind leetcode properly first and then maybe a week or so on OS, DBMS, OOPS, Java, Spring Boot (based on my last project at work). Kindly give some assistance on time partitioning since I am getting overwhelmed in order to get myself "fully prepared". Also pls help me with referrals, if any.

It nice to connect here I have 2.8+ years of experience in cognizant now due to layoff I am facing issue in getting any job so if anyone here can refer me in their respective organization wo it will be very helpful for me in this tough time. To the senior people in the industry I need your advice badly. My background: I am a 2023,CSE graduate from NSUT Dwarka (Tier -1) college. I had an offee from company with CTC of 12LPA and that offer got revoked. Currently I am working in a service based startup with peanuts as sallary. The work I am being assign here is mainly of Langchain and ML(which I don't have much interest in but can do if required).How do you get out of this company and should I stay here just for experience for atleast one year. please drop your valuable suggestions

Sadly I got D band, I had resigned but due to personal circumstances I couldn't find an offer and resumed back. However timing was wrong so happened around March end when I rejoined. So being a C3B my salary is now reduced by 20% I am thinking to take a break and upgrade my skills. I can't study along with job. I am trying to switch but somehow not getting any interview calls for Scrum Master role. Feeling lost. Any referrals or any guidance is highly appreciated. Thank you for reading thus far.

Hi Guys, I did a Career Transition in which my base pay got drastically decreased when I Switched from Sales to Data Analytics. People were considering me Fresher and it lead me to accept the offer with less money as well. Now being 1 year in the Analytics industry i am Feeling underpaid and i am getting a standard hike everywhere. What should i do in this case ?

Hi Grapeviners, My previous company laid me off and they have mentioned it in the relieving letter as well. I have got another offer from TCS, but they have reduced my expected CTC to almost half of what I was getting previously after I have shared by relieving letter with them. The reason that they quoted was you were laid off so we don’t want to hire such candidates. I am barely getting any other interview calls as well. Apart from that all my savings have exhausted and TCS is asking me to join the next week. Should I join TCS and leave them after few months once I find a better job? Because they are paying me much less here, and I have liabilities as well.. I couldn’t sustain in this less salary. And all my savings are almost over due to my own illness in the last few months. Will the previous company know that I have left TCS in just few months? In case if I don’t mention TCS in my resume and show all those months as year gap?
