Hey Folks! Which Platform/Broker do you use to buy unlisted shares?

Does anyone know where I can buy shares of companies like Vedanti, Unacademy, or BYJU'S and other unlisted tech cos.

I have a few esops of blockchain.com. while I reside in india , I got some esops in lieu of the work. I am wondering when I will be able to encash those shares. Is it only after Blockchain.com is enlisted after ipo ? Fin expert please guide me on this.

Which platform do you use to reliably hold US listed stocks? AFAIK, mostly US entities of trading platforms hold the stock themselves and issue an equivalent IOU note for Indian buyers. Is there a way to have direct custodianship of the stocks for non-US residents? Or atleast a reliable platform that wouldn't steal your stocks when shit hits the fan?

Hi all, Can u folks suggest a good Brokerage firm for investing in US market from India? So far I looked at vested it looks good. I did checkout indmoney but it asks for a lot of details. Are there any other prominent brokerage firms and which one I should stick too?

I have recently left Tekion and was considering executing my ESOPs. For executing my ESOPs I need to pay around $3.5 per esop to the company. Should I convert my esops to equity? Am looking for some advice from the folks who might have done this in the past.

I'm a total newbie at investments, especially when it comes to the stock market (equity or mutual funds). I'm wanting to start my journey in this direction with mutual funds, so I can gradually understand the dynamics at work. I'd like to know which platform is good for a beginner to start their investment journey (with mutual funds as the starting point). I've come across multiple apps (Paytm money, upstox, growww etc.) as well as the regular bank/AMC apps. Which platform is advisable for ease and convenience, with things like ease of buying/selling, customer support, market insights and so forth?
