Honesty at work.
Can you grow your career by displaying honesty at work? Do you think manipulative people are most successful at work? What category do you think you come under? Honest or Manipulative? If people at work, force you to be manipulative, would you accept it for the sake of your own career growth?

Honesty is best when
1) you're good at what you do,
2) the honesty is aligned with company goals, and
3) you can prove it through data.
Eg, in the part I've seen Sales reps manipulate sales numbers to make higher incentives, and when I pointed it out along with CRM data I was rewarded.
Also been in a situation where the company itself was acting in bad faith, in that case I just quit.

Not everyone is lucky enough to get rewarded for being honest.

And to answer your question directly, if you talk to Management about manipulation that is hurting the company then you'll be rewarded. Remember, the best growth comes from being aligned with management goals.

What you refer as ‘Management’ itself is manipulative. Management purposely wants to introduce problems only to solve them later to swell with pride. People simply defer solutions to problems to prolong in an organization.
This is not me speaking, but my 18+ yoe speaking.
