Hello! As someone who works with startups (not in)and has a well paying job, I am often intrigued and keen to invest money (say a few lacs, and provide some mentorship) as a micro angel investor in early age pre series/ seed rounds,  to try my hand. Not talking about becoming a LP or joining a VC/PE. (I know the pros and cos, the glamour and the ugly pieces) . While there are some fintech startups where you can invest as low as 5000/- in a startup, I believe these aren’t for me. Any guidance on how I begin and any learnings?

I'm a total newbie at investments, especially when it comes to the stock market (equity or mutual funds). I'm wanting to start my journey in this direction with mutual funds, so I can gradually understand the dynamics at work.
I'd like to know which platform is good for a beginner to start their investment journey (with mutual funds as the starting point). I've come across multiple apps (Paytm money, upstox, growww etc.) as well as the regular bank/AMC apps.
Which platform is advisable for ease and convenience, with things like ease of buying/selling, customer support, market insights and so forth?

Every month my salary gets credited I barely spend 20% of it the rest of it is just sitting around in my bank account it's already above 5L. I keep thinking of investing it in stocks/mf but it's a lot of work 😔

I grew up in a family which used to be just above poverty line. My mom had worked a lot to provide making 7K a month. I now have a job that pays 15lpa. Other than good food on table I'm not sure what i should do with the money. I save everything left after removing house expenses Which is 75% of my income. I know saving is good but i don't want endup saving a huge pile and dying without using any of it.i want to exprfi6good things. How did you guys spend when you tried to raise from almost poor to a decent standard of living

Similar background, always dreamt of a decent gaming pc or console. 
 First thing i did after setting up sip was buying ps4. 
  
 Travel, travelling is expensive but the experiences you have a worth it. 
  
 Spend on parents, buy em phones, clothes or sponsor there religious trips. 
  
 Charity, dont forget your roots. 
  
 Definitely dont become a horder, but dont go ballistic as well.

For folks who recently graduated and have education loan to pay with multiple small loans that family have taken. How do you all invest money and what portion. I earn around 1l per month and 30% of my income goes into loans. It’s already getting better with those small loans already paid over the course of starting few months but the problem is I am left with no sufficient amount of money to invest after deducting the living expenses. Should I wait for the loans to get over first and then start investing or just invest like 10k per month?

Tips for investment with multiple loans.

Context : I have been saving up money for over a year now and not actively invested it anywhere due to x reasons.

Now I want to start SIPs as I have achieved my emergency fund and want to reap the benefits of the power of compounding.

Q.1) Which apps offer the option of one time lumpsum + continuing the monthly SIP in a fund?
(Lumpsum to makeup for what I failed to do last year) Is what I am thinking the best strategy and practical? if not, please suggest

Q.2) Recommend me an app with a good customer support team , good number of fund options to invest and have hassle free deposits and withdrawals ?

PS: I have downloaded Groww and I don't see it offering many funds to invest into.
