How did you realise your boss knew shit ?

How and what was the incident that made you first realize your boss knew nothing about what he/she was doing and was just coasting along sprouting corporate mumbo jumbo and everybody just zoning out or nodding along

An excellent one of mine, integrate clubhouse voice group chat system within our app, not the voice/audio group stream api or anything but entire clubhouse app within our app :)

Few months into my first job, I was raising POs in SAP. I had a doubt in a particular PO and asked my manager (they had completed 5 years in the company). I was so surprised they dint know shit coz that wasnt the impression they gave everyone.

Few days later, they took me to a cabin and made me teach the whole thing, while she took notes lol. Funny part was, our department head barged and my manager quietly told me not to mention to anyone that I was teaching SAP😂

Beyond a certain level in the heirarchy, one need not have much technical knowledge. All a person needs is to know how to rise/deploy capital. For the investment to kick in and generate revenue, there is a time period. During that period he can refine in capital deloyment stratgies. and if he is lucky, a bull economy will kick in every alternate or every two years.
