How difficult can it be to get your resume viewed by the recuitor?

I have given the 2nd round of interview for Amex which is supposedly last one i guess.. it's been a week now there's no update.. once tried reaching hr through text she didn't respond not picked up the call.. should i take this as no? Is it fair to assume that she saw the text and obviously would have recognised me being the candidate, thus it's implicitly a no? In a limbo due to this as another discussion is in final stages🤐🤐

Hello Fine Viners- it's been 2 months now that I am actively looking for a job change. Have faced instances where the HR calls me regarding the scheduling of the interview, but vo hota hi nahi hai! Even if the interview is scheduled, I don't get an update post that call. I have rejected 2 offers (there are solid reasons to do so) and have been rejected from 2 :( LinkedIn and IIMjobs are on a constant battle on who will give me the most rejection emails or updates. Anyways, I am getting a bit worried lately and wanted to know from ya'll, IS HIRING EVEN HAPPENING!? So I am currently applying for so many companies but not getting replys from any of them. What to do please guide 🙏

Recently started giving interviews and cleared a few rounds in a couple of companies. I never heard back from any of them even if I felt the interviews went well. Very frustrated because of this as I fail to understand how difficult is it to just reject or send a rejection email if they don't want to hire. I understand that companies have 100s of candidates in their pipeline but it's so frustrating to not even get any rejection mail and get stuck in a limbo.

Hi Grapeviners, I have ten years of work ex in performance marketing and CRM. I started job search actively from Feb 15 this year and landed first interview today. How bad is the market out there. I usually get hired with in 30 job applications, also I apply to the role only if 70% and above role match with my previous experience also use referrals when available. I am a fresher. I have already applied to over 60+ companies regardless of their WLB and other aspects. I also have a good portfolio of personal projects. Most people say to find a small startup and directly message the founder(s) and proceed along with it. But I'm unable to find which ones are good companies. Even if I use Linkedin Search by using number of filters, it anyway gives me 1000s of results. It's so hard to find a good company to work for. Also, I dont won't to work for Big 4 or other huge names. And even if I find and apply for the role, most companies don't respond. Only half of the companies sent me automated acknowledgements for my applications and around 10 companies rejected me straight away. Got interviewed at 2, but failed. Any tips on how to find good companies (of any size) and increase the probability of getting interviewed?

Hey, So I completed my prelims round @google , cleared it completed 3/5 and its been almost 10 days - haven't heard back from my recruiter. I have just one point of contact, so feeling kinda helpless as to whom I can reach out to. Like i followed up thrice now over a period of one week - very respectfully. I mean its my dream role and honestly, every day not getting any response is honestly painful - even If I didn't make it - At least I should hear back right? and I understand the number of applications must be extremely high - but still the process should be somewhat smooth right? Its Google after all. Any suggestions on how to tackle the above situation?

I was persuing cse from a decent college in pune . In my last year i.e.2023 , I was placed in a startup in pune with CTC 5 lpa but it had bond of 2 years ,so I rejected that offer .I ended up getting my college placement account banned because according to them I was already placed ,so I started looking for jobs off campus,but I never thought it's going to be this hard to look for jobs off campus. Applying to multiple companies in a day ,resume getting rejected and then applying again .for some where I get shortlisted, they keep on asking questions from things which are not even mentioned in my resume although their jd don't even mentioned those skills .In some companies where my interview was 10 on 10 (according to me), still they rejected me and when asked they used to say ,they found more suitable candidates. I graduated in September 2023 , and I am still looking for job , trying to upgrading myself everyday to get better. I never regret my decision of not accepting that job. I don't know if I am getting any job or not but I am gonna be more strong and better with each passing day . Regards .
