How do I reach a leadership position in data science?

Hey folks! I have 6+ years of experience working as data scientist in Bangalore with UK based company. I want to go from technical role to more business oriented roles. How do I do that. What's the possible options I should be looking into.

Hi guys, I have a tier - II MBA, 5 years of work-ex post MBA. I currently work in marketing and the pay is good. However, I struggle with my mental health in this role, especially because I am an introvert who deals with ADHD. I have figured out that IC roles with minimal dependency on other people is where I thrive. I also like working with data in my role, whenever I get the chance to do so. I figured that Data Analytics/Science could be one of the fields that I could work well in. How do I pivot to this field? Where do I start? What kind of salary structure can I look at? What would be the growth? Is it even worth it?

Hi! I want to streamline my career in data science domain. Currently into data analytics role where mostly work is on data visualisation and predictive modelling. I want to grow in this field but I want those roles which are mix of both management and tech. Are there any such roles in this field? Or is it hardcore coding only? Would like to understand what companies look for in aspiring candidates in this domain? In which areas one should become proficient to get a heft package? and will this field grow in next 5 years and will it be more immune to layoffs?

I am currently a Senior Business Analyst with decent knowledge of Python, Sql and good analytical skills. How can I switch to core DS. I am also pursuing online masters in Data Science from a top university to help me with credentials. What kind of projects should I undertake to create my portfolio ?

My designations have changed based on the industry requirements and work too changed based on that. I'm a 28-year-old guy currently employed as a data scientist at a Fortune 500 company, earning a respectable annual salary of 24 lakhs. Lately, I've been contemplating pursuing an MBA, but I haven't initiated my GMAT preparation yet. I'm wondering if it's a wise move to transition my career in this direction. I've heard that individuals with a tech background who graduate from IIM/ISB might need to begin their careers anew, typically with a salary in the range of 27 to 28 lakhs. Can you confirm if this is accurate?

advise for growth/ further education hey folks.... I did an MBA in 2009 from a tier 2 college. worked in startups and established companies in marketing and communications roles. now hit a wall in terms of pay, growth and future prospects... thinking of doing a second mba or a data science course. what do u guys think... other info: I'm 39 years , and can't afford to stop working beyond a year.
