How do you end up using a platform like Grapevine?
How did you come to know about it? What made you download it? And why are you still using it? Building anything in social is so hard. I want to know how they got the users.
Saw a post about a year ago from one of the LinkedIn Influencers on how a person achieved $ 1M NW.
Grapevine users are genuine for the most part which might be due to anonymous nature and this is a good change from LinkedIn where we have a lot of fake positivity.
Yes true, most of the suggestions here are good and open, most of the people can’t openly discuss about crucial details of work for number of reasons (nda or open salary discussions) but here we can understand the dynamics of how things are different at our workplace. And the pay difference, and what can we do to make it right.
I joined because I was skeptical, confused, and not confident on how much should I ask for my new role in the same company, so I wanted some open suggestions on salary, I was aiming for 30-40% hike, but many people here suggested that I am severely underpaid and should ask for 120-150%, at the end I got 100% hike.

Followed Saumil due to amul.exe reco on X
Now i blame both - Amul for recommending and Saumil for making this app addictive

Bcoz of anonymity. People here can speak their heart out. Gets to hear more practical feedbacks, opinions or views, people don't bother to be politically correct or don't have fear of bulling or judging by anyone.
