How much outstanding home loan you have ? What is your CTC ?

Hello community, I have 5 YOE Current CTC: 25 Lpa Working with MNC in bangalore, unmarried Apart from this i have 7Lkhs of Auto loan left which was of 4 years, I don’t wish to prepay that. Do you have any suggestions if I want to quit job market in coming 10 years and do something of my own or attempt something remote coz I don’t see myself in bangalore in coming years.

I’ll go first. 1. What kind of investor are you? I am an opportunity investor, and I do buy good stocks whenever they are in reasonable valuations. Below are my monthly numbers. 2. Where’s the majority of your investment portfolio ? I have three RE investments and one of them has loan. And I’m planning to buy a property in Goa or HP. 3. What’s your monthly investment breakdown? 1.7L/ Month (approx) 60k - SIP (mutual funds) 60k - stocks (smallcase, us stocks using vested) 30k - as opportunity fund, this is transferred to a different bank account 10-20k - for experimental investments in crypto, nfts, and some trading. This is a new segment and I don’t have much experience in this and that’s why starting small here. 4. Anything else you want to share? I am learning to invest on a daily basis. I've got a package around 40 LPA with 4 yrs exp, with 1.8L as take home Now, my parents are looking to buy a house at my home town (tier 2 city). It costs around 65L, so have to a loan of around 50L which will be around 65k EMI every month for the next 10 years Also I'm passionate about working on side projects doing some part time gigs, share around 40k to my family for their needs. This house loan will have a burden on me for sure, do you think it's the right decision to take home now or maybe postpone it to later?

Planning to buy a house. I'm confused about what should be the max price range I should be targeting for. I was okay with going till 2 cr since I would be able to do 40% down-payment and take loan for 15 years whose monthly EMI wouldn't be more than 1/3rd of my monthly in hand salary. But after talking to few folks, realized that people are actually okay going for costlier properties. People who bought house in last 3-4 years, what % down-payment did you do and what % of your in hand salary is your EMI?

I have 12Lakhs in mutualfund and 8Lakhs in cash and 20Lakhs of Home loan, thinking to deposit the 8Lakhs in home loan, as sometimes I get worried that I have a loan to pay. What's your opinion?
