How to approach questions like design parking lot, elevator system and food supply and demand problem in product inyerviews? What interviewer is trying to judge from these? any resources to learn from?
-Ask questions understand fully what he wants ...
-Like design an elevator...so for whom , which building, who will use elevator, get a complete picture
- Now list down user personas who will use this product
- what problems they have , solve for these problems through features.
- combine with a gtm strategy but not necessary always.
- interviewer is basically seeing first problem understanding, then user identification , finally some nice features which shows how much you're in touch with products in general.

Thank you, here interviewer kept insisting me to give number of lifts per floor and lift capacity etc metrics. I think it is beyond an interview expectation, would require more time also felt not a right way to niche to metric here. Any idea how could have tackled this situation?
