I am a Partner at PWC. Ask me Anything.
It would be easy to find out who I am if I say anything more but I have worked in cross-collaborative roles across my careers spanning multiple decades in Big4s. I have led several projects for Govt of India and Public Sector Organizations. Personally I have worked in multidisciplinary fields mostly in IT and Databases. I have recently worked in Solution designing and Enterprise Architecture for many large orgs. Most of this is Digital strategy for many offline first businesses. Ask me Anything!
@polyesterking At this stage, our practice does not require as much active outreach. Additional business comes primarily from expanding existing clients, and good wom between similar clients.
The space is large but tightly knit, and hence different vis-a-vis other sectors.

Now we're adding the real questions!
@InsidiousBruh No, we're responsible for selling. I review the ultimate proposal.
Are there salary slabs in pwc? If yes what slab level and rate does a sr associate starts from?
Specifically for advisory.
What was your career progression be like? In terms of salary, role, yoe
Worked in Big 4 all my life. First 10 years I did not make more that 15L per year. Then it sky rocketed in the last 5 years to where I am right now. It is a massive power law.
Someone can figure out how old I am. But safe to say I became partner at 39.
I have two questions
What is your education background?
Can a person who has done forgein accounting bodies course like cpa/acca /cfa become partner in big 4 or it's only for Indian CAs
CA background. Becoming a partner is less about the education tbh. Yes, there is a threshold but most importantly it is about optics and how palatable your promo is.

MBA grads also become partners? The ones with no CA background?
What does it take to reach director level from a consultant level?
I am a consultant at deloitte, mostly doing data science and AI for Government of India. Sit in client office, so sometimes feel desolated from deloitte and it's culture.
It is hard to say for these niche verticals in Big4. Specifics may differ compared to more mature offerings.
I gave my interview for 2nd round for servicenow developer at pwc
When can I expect feedback?
A friend was recently forced to resign from PWC when he email one of the partner about his in ability to go to client location.
I believe friend was in wrong here by using wrong words but his problem was genuine.
Is it advisable to work in Industry/ startup instead of Big4. To make capital in the long run.
With so much expertise in our domain don't you feel that Big4 employees are being paid way less than people who are working in Industry with less exposure
How easy it is to switch to MBB from PWC at associate consultant or senior consultant level
@Partner_is_scary Any options for moving to consultancy from government for 40 yr old?
I am looking for a job in PWC Bhubaneswar office. How can I apply, as I am not able to search jobs for my skills in the career portal
