I really want to know your take on this , please give your opinion !!!

So the thing I wanted to share for so long with you all is , today many people around the world are suffering from diabetes, blood pressure, asthma or all the diseases which are becoming more and more common in the country like India with may be not so good lifestyle, unhealthy eating habits , stress and a lot of other factors, the medical industry is booming at a very rapid rate with advancement in technology and artificial intelligence (very good) but even after hearing that scientists are doing this , running this experiment bla bla , still there is no cure , Why? Is it because they are still trying or government of all the countries actually don't want a cure to come because if there will be a cure , there will be no patients and the business of all the doctors and specialists will come to an end in most cases . That's why they always say , you can manage these symptoms with medications/avoidance but can't cure it . Cars are getting devlop to fly , space scientists are searching for life at other planets We made so much progress , everybody says it that today you have every possible thing available at your fingertips , but not a cure to diseases which is so common nowadays

My take on this: certainly there is a cure for everything. It's not about that the businesses of doctors will come to an end, because it's a human body and there will be some or the other defects present. Medicine is the only profession that'll never end, even if AI rules. What I feel is, we are ourselves responsible for the diseases not getting cured. Our lifestyles have destroyed our health. All the unhealthy foods are now available at our doorstep. Let's say, the food we have to avoid due to a medical condition, but you are craving it, you'll just order and think it's just once. The human mind is like that. Look at our parents, they were not exposed to such outside food so frequently, so their vitals also remain better than us. And look at us now, we started having diseases in such early ages of our life. So somewhere, it is us, who is responsible for not getting a cure. This could be just one of the reasons.I'm open to listening to others'perspectives as well. 😅

Health scare at 35

Had a regular yearly check up 2 weeks back and found that I'm diabetic. Both my parents are diabetic and I assumed I'll be as well at some point in my life as an inheritance from them but never thought this early. I did not tell this to anyone, not even my wife. Took me 2 weeks to get hold of myself and let the feeling sink in. Started making changes to my life style since yesterday and started working out as well. Today is Day-2.

Work/Life/Play/Sleep whatever. Noticing a massive improvement in sleep quality after getting all black sun blocking curtains. Especially considering the stress from work that is making me die on the inside, getting some sleep is a respite.

Currently I have 1 baby boy of 4 yrs old. Had one spontaneous miscarriage last year 2023 Aug. post that unable to conceive. We went for 4 months of fertility treatment, did not get success. But my wife got health issues and side effects. After that when we stopped taking treatment, health wise she is completely fine. It is 5 months since stopping treatment, health is stable now, but still unable to conceive. Should we seek doctor help again for treatment? Or should I avoid these treatments? Kindly advice. I am not in a state to take any decision. Thanks.

Are medicines supposed to be so expensive?

I recently came across the world of generic medicines. On reading more upon it came to understand that the main components of a medicine are the Core drug, Strength, Form and Pack Size. It doesn’t matter which brand you pick as long as the four things above are same. Example Dolo 650MG Tablets, 15 Pack. Core Drug: Paracetamol Strength: 650 MG Form: Tablet Pack: 15 (Strip) Brand Name (optional): Dolo Generic drugs come without a brand/drug name but are as powerful and follow the same quality standards. I was amazed to know that they are consistently 60-80% lower in prices. Can’t imagine how much it could benefit someone suffering from chronic conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension etc. Does anyone know more about this? Why are generics not so common or available and spoken about? Or is it that in late to the party 😀

India loosing doctors credibility

Is there any one else who feels India doesn't have good doctors anymore. I have seen some great hospitals for orthopaedic surgeon and none of them able to treat my knee pain. Whenever I visited any doctor either they pick up phone call of their friends in mid consultation or just type the medicines name or irrevelant tests. Now I feel like I can't trust any doctor in India. Very less portion of good doctors remaining here. Did anyone of you faced bad thing in hospital for you or your parents.
