IB Salary India| Domestic/Boutique vs Bulge bracket
Please give the reality check for IB salaries in India of both Domestic IBs like Avendus, Ambit, etc. vs. JP Morgan, Goldman, Deutsche etc? And how to get into these roles right after your undergraduation?

Assume you are looking for first year analyst salaries in a reasonably decent year for the firm. Starting total comp range for domestic IBs would be 30l-50l. For the bulge/global/Tier1 it would be 40l-60l. This is for front office roles. As a reference point, in my organization first year analysts on an average got ~46l last year.
From your other post I understand you are from LSR. Very less front office hiring is through campus hiring programs at undergrad campuses given the high attrition within these folks for MBA/buyside roles.
