IIT Madras faces placement crisis: 45% graduates are unplaced

-Where are we headed, seeing this situation tier 1 students being unplaced I can't imagine the job scenario for tier 2/3 folks. -What if the market does recover from such a long recession would it be able to accommodate so many fresher students as well as experienced folks?

It's already mid April and placement ends in may-june even if 20% are left out it's huge margin considering it's a premier institute.

Yea I guess so, semiconductor race is on so people in electrical core should definitely look up to that rather than grinding leetcode

40% anyway don't opt for placement and go for MS/PhD/UPSC etc.

Hmm but this year that number is already up cz of bad market. Won't it make a huge influx of dual degree no experience folks entering market?
