If Meetings would have been so important!

We start the day with meetings, we end the day with a meeting, and in between there are thousands if not hundreds of "Can we get on a quick call?", "Let's have a meeting to discuss the agendas", "Are you available for a 5 mins meet?", "Can you join in on _____", stand up, sit down, roll over, turn around, blah blah blah (you get the idea)! Most meetings would have been an email. Sadly many don't/can't write! If meetings would have been so important, why would anyone be doing any actual work!
