Income tax vs it's return from gov

Bro, you are earning. Shouldn't you just be grateful that you are not born in war torn Afghanistan or disease ridden Africa. I mean life could be so much worse. In fact, the only difference between you and the office boy is the household you were born in. If that office boy was born in your home, he probably would be as successful as you. You already won the lottery. Why not just do your part and pay the income tax so that the tax money can be used to provide a better life to those who are unprivileged. I am not excusing the corruption in the system but just find the cribbing unbearable Just be greatful

😔😔 joined a full time job and this is what happened

In two different minds here Of late I have been watching many India glorifying movies/shows - Rocketry, Manikarnika, Rocket Boys. On other hand, riots based on community and religion make me wonder how can people put own country down. Then, I am paying for 2.5 months of salary in tax. But am I benefitting from it? The road outside house has been broken before monsoons, gets even worse now. Losing motivation to work in India because of 30% TDS and nothing on return .

Inspite of so many "better than earlier govts" reforms in the last 10 years...the govt hasnt done much needed reforms in the income tax regime. The govt is doing a few good things like dissolving inept psu's, selling off entities like Air India (privatisation), etc. But when and how are we going to increase the tax base?? Why is govt failing to do so? It is high time we rationalise it. Hate seeing so much of money go into taxes to this so called goverment. How are ya'll budgeting to save on taxes

I recently received an offer from a early stage startup. But they told that that pay in contractual basis. when asked about the reason they told that it helps the company and employees to save tax. How does it work? will it affect my future employment if I take this job? like if I join some other company will they accept that I was actually working fulltime. The role is fulltime, but only the money transaction will happen as contractual.

I am working as software engineer at FAANG. I pay ~1.25L income tax per month. It pains me a lot. Since being general class male, I never got any benefit from but these govt is looting me. There are many small shopkeeper, landlords, farmers who earn more than me but none of them is paying tax but here I am paying such huge tax like loser. What should I do? Should I move abroad where even though I will still pay 30% tax but still I will have more money than being in India, or should I open a shop like of clothes, or chai?
