The salary I negotiated before joining as per the role just increased  in just 2 months. Should I ask for raise once I get my permanent letter ✉️ 🤔?

Hey folks, so I am a 2022 graduate and I'll try to make this short as much as possible:

* I was giving interview at a company for backend dev
* Over the period got promoted from MTS to SMTS with CTC correction from 12.8 to 14.74 at my current company
* Last Friday did the cultural fitment round
* After following up got a call from HR saying they'll update me by this weekend
* However I updated her with the information regarding role change and CTC correction
* Now she asked what'll be your expectations
   * First, she asked whether I could shift with the same CTC, but I was hesitant, she took it as no.
   * I asked what is your range? She said there is no range
   * I told her as per market standard, she said I'll take 30% to herself as of now

So I need help here: 

* what can I tell her? Or should I tell her something before the weekend or not?
* Should I ask her if it'll be senior role as I am a SMTS now?

Also, this is the current salary  range as per Glassdoor of this company:

* Sr. backend: 25
* SDE: 15 + 6

Additional info for my current company:

*  My manager said that my base will be matched with SMTS in April which is 18-24
* Also heard the news that the company will not give appraisal to anyone in April

Hi everyone,
I was working in Persistent Systems from last 2 years and had a CTC of 5.5 LPA. I got laid off from persistent as I was on bench for 2 months. Now I am about to join TCS with data engineer role. So how much salary hike I could expect? In my previous discussion with HR I asked for 12 LPA but he said that for 2 Yr experience they can't give more than 9 LPA. So should I negotiate on that. The vacancy was for 4+ years experience but as I have cleared the interviews they are ready to go with me.
Please guide if you can as it is my first switch.

How to negotiate properly? Anytime we could get to do it on our CCTC or the holding offer (2-3L extra). But if I feel the company could pay more than it + my skills are worth it. How to put that out? Many times I get to see a response that your numbers are high compared to your current CTC / max we can give 2L more than your holding offer not more than it.
Example:
CCTC : 10LPA, holding : 15LPA, mostly HRs try to settle me at 17LPA max. But through some research if I see the same companies are paying somewhere between 18-22LPA, so I can get offered 22LPA also right! 

So in such cases how to know the range of hiring? how to negotiate to maximum(realistically) without any regrets and get the best, especially when I am expecting a 100% hike or more?. Does interview performance affect salary?

I recently interviewed at an MNC and my interviews went great. They also gave a case study.
At the time of final negotiation for salary, i asked for standard 40-45% hike. However they took some time and came back with an offer of almost 95%-100% and literally more than that if i include yearly fixed bonus component.

This was a big surprise to me, and they states that we have done this taking care of pay parity, etc.

I am very happy, 
However, i want to know is this common or happened with anyone else?
Are there such good companies, people and HRs...

Anyone having any thoughts on this?

I got to know that budget for the role i interviewed is in range of 20-25 LPA. My last drawn salary itself is lower than the market standards. The company wouldn't give hike more than 30% considering my experience in the role domain. But I have performed well in all my interview rounds.

Hey all, so I've done my Engg. in automobile and after that got an opportunity to work at XYZ company as an Analyst in "Master Data Management" domain almost completing two years now (usually work on automobile components data for the company's e-commerce website, where we sell the parts). 

Now, my manager has approached me to take up this project/process "Supplier Risk and Sustainability Management", which is very different from what I do currently. Mind you, I worked on this project temporarily for a quarter last year, as it was new to India. 

The company hired a person for that project and he took over, now the thing is he has put down his papers, and business owners now want me in their team. While my pay is just 27k, I asked them that I need at least 55-60k in hand, but my manager said it might not be possible, at max 15-20% increase.


Fam, please guide me on what should I do here, and what is the future scope for this role, while being from an Engg. background. 
(My goal is to work on Manufacturing x Data Analytics)

After that I got a call from HR and they asked for my expected salary among other things to which I answered that I want a 40% hike. I cleared all technical interviews and after that I got a mail saying that they would like to offer me a full time role and asked some of my documents to prepare an offer. I was curious about them asking for documents without having an HR round first so I called the HR and asked some details about the job and she ensured that they can give me a 40% hike on base but not on TC so I assumed they will hike my base and keep the other components in a similar range to what I currently have. I send the documents and on the next day I get a call from HR asking about my expected compensation again, I then ask about their salary structure and they explain that it's all fixed. I was confused on what number to give them so I said that I wanted a 40% hike but since my TC consists of variable components and theirs don't, I would like to know what is the maximum salary they could give me to which the HR replied that they will let me know in a while. It's been more than 24 hours and I haven't heard back. I don't want to call the HR because that might make me look desperate and give them a reason to lowball me but I'm not sure what to do and am even more confused about what kind of process is being followed at this company.

They said they will get back with offer.

How to go about here? If they come with a lower offer than what i asked, how much liberty i have to ask further.
Does HR will come with 2-3 various levels of offer and then try to negotiate with me.

Any help or insights would be helpful in how HR comes with offer details.
My interviews were pretty good and i think they like me.

How does salary negotiation before offer work

Don't share payslips yet if possible. Do it after finalising your offer details. 
  
 What information have you shared? Current compensation? Expected range? Do you have any other offers in hand? 
  
 The game that follows now is that of leverage of information vs offer expiry timelines. 
  
 They will share an offer. You can call it "interesting" but don't share more details on if you like it or not - you need to "think more" before you can share your opinion. Say that you need to discuss it with your well-wishers and also evaluate compared to other opportunities. 
  
 Get back to them on email and call the offer "strong" (if it is really good) or "interesting" (for all other cases). Suggest some improvements to the offer that would make it more compelling for you. Don't guarantee that you will accept the offer if these things are provided (unless it's your last day till offer expiry). Keep negotiating with everyone that is interesting and keep dropping the non-interesting ones. 
  
 Also, don't call the negotiation discussions a "negotiation" - that word sounds negative. Call it "discussing offer details" or something. 
  
 FYI: All of these tips are from the highly popular negotiation blog posts by Haseeb. They've worked well for me.

Hello everyone... I'm working in an early stage startup, things with my product team are really good but with the rest of the team like tech, marketing & sales it's really toxic...and I witness that toxicity regularly not directly but indirectly & from time to time I have to witness the same toxicity during stakeholder meeting plus the office vibe is also not that good kind of drains my energy 
Now when I tried to put down my papers my manager tried to give me a good raise currently I'm at 8 LPA with 1 year of experience & he is giving me a raise of 50% (12 LPA)

Same as title. Feeling frustrated as most companies these days only negotiate based on CCTC and only want to give some x% hike. I know this is common in India but is there a way to go around it? Do product based companies and good startups also do this? Is job hopping the only way to reach a good CTC?

How much percentage of hike can I ask for switching to Accenture as I have 7.3 years of experience for Data engineer role and 14.2 LPA fixed package.

Can I ask for 60-70% of fixed hike which is around 22.5 L - 23.5 L fixed or even more ?
