Indian labor system & laws
With all the things going around including companies taking employees for a ride, why do you think officials in governing bodies are not solving for labour laws slightly even in favour of employees? 🧐 How can private folks help or influence officials to change the labour laws. 🤔 Until then we will always see folks feeling cheated by their companies, big or small. 😥🫣

Surprised to see people think laws will make their life better. India is a jungle rule. every day is like war, every life time is a battle. Expecting laws to make your life better is like expecting someone's else to fight for you. It never works. If you don't believe me ask any GC friends you have. They have waited all these years for the government to correct the anomaly of reservations, and are still waiting.
There are no rules in this war - when times are good you make you money by changing companies, when times are bad they treat you like shit. This goes on until you can no longer work. Period.
Very good question.
The Parliament has passed a new wage code but it hasn't been notified. It's not the best thing in the world, but it definitely A step. It does make it mandatory for a company to clear an employee's FnF within 2 days of termination.
Internationally, there are employment laws where if the FnF is not cleared within 14 days or so, an additional penalty is applied on the employer. I think that can be a good provision.
The reason why we don't have it is the same reason why we don't have an Al law, the same reason why we're still waiting for proper Mental Health Rules under the Bill, it isn't a priority for the government and no one is working on it
