Honestly, government ain't doing a lot but it's people who r hustling n boosting GDP. Govt. is just an enabler. 
  
 1. Fpi+fdi+remittances+dollar sale by RBI is reason behind inr stability. 
  
 2. Due to festival demand we saw a zoom in manufacturing, real estate and mining which resulted in 7.8% q2 growth 📈. 
  
 3. Remove top 5cr tax paying citizens n nation will be like a sub saharan Africa 🌍 nation 
  
 4. Infrastructure boost by government causes cyclical effect in economy. Dbt or ubi ain't a solution in 1500M nation. It's suitable for small EU nations with 5-10M population. 
  
 5. I believe government including states should spend on education, skill development n health as much as possible. Currently we spend 20% on subsidy n less than 2% on education or health. It's happening since 1947. 
  
 We need to build capacity n not work less but paid bots. 
  
 We should be a knowledge economy not a labour economy.

When the conflict started, the entire West imposed sanctions on Russia. These sanctions are more extensive than those on Iran, North Korea, and Iraq combined. The West even sanctioned countries doing business with Russia, aiming to isolate Russia geopolitically. Despite this, Russia's GDP data is higher than that of the US and almost all European countries. With Modi, Russia is trying to showcase to the West that they are not alone.

I am in shock that the Canadian PM, in the Canadian Parliament no less has alleged that India has eliminated a khalistani on Canadian soil. 
I still remember the days, when the single greatest attack on the soul of the country took place in Mumbai on 26/11, all we could do was establish backchannel diplomacy with the likes of the US to get Pakistan to 'calm down'. Not a single bullet was fired in return in a nation that perceived our weak national security as par for the course, getting the Congress led UPA that presided over this moment of unparalleled humiliation, a thumping verdict in 2009. That was an India where we would lament the lack of credible retaliation options including Covert Ops. It was often stated that IK Gujral rolled back R&AW operations outside the country as an excuse for our lack. Although, no action was taken to initiate the operations again. NONE. But excuses were ready should failures occur again.

That India of my childhood, seems like a distant past. When URI and Balakot happened, we crossed the LoC and launched Spl Ops to impose rising costs upon Pakistani aggression. Khalistani or old thoroughbred battle hardened Islamic Jihad commanders in Pakistan or PoK are being neutralized, further raising costs to threatening Indian interests. 

This is not the India I grew up in. 2004-14, when we ought to have taken off, came a pauper after the initial global liquidity fuelled growth from 04-07. Congress went on a far left loony socialistic binge, with massive amounts of debt given to Crony Industrialist friends leading to an NPA crisis which led to Private investment paralysis, plummeting growth further, and inflation hitting the skies. 

But now, we are poised for a decade or two of rapid, high quality, solid economic growth. All of these factors combine to bolster our Gross National Power like never before. 

We were supposed to be poor, timid and helpless. We pursued sympathy over strength. But I guess, this is no longer the India we knew of.

This is NOT the India I grew up in

This is not the India I grew up, where there was some trust left between religious communities and people were mostly tolerant of each other. Indian cricket team had a Muslim captain, and now an Indian Muslim fastbowler is facing Internet trolls.  
  
 This is not the India I grew up in where hate mongering was not mainstream and was frowned upon.  
  
  
 This is not the India I grew up in. Democratic institutions were fairly independent and there was no Supreme leader worship among the masses.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States has revised its stance on Research & Experimentation (R&E) amortization, as outlined in Section 174.

Previous System: Companies could immediately deduct their entire Research & Experimentation (R&E) expenses in the year they were incurred.

New System: Under IRS Section 174, these expenses must now be amortized, meaning they are deducted over several years. The period is 5 years for domestic (U.S.) R&E expenses and 15 years for foreign (non-U.S.) R&E expenses.

Example:
Scenario: A U.S. Software Company Outsourcing to India
Company: XYZ Corp, a U.S.-based software company.
R&E Expense: $150,000 spent on software development in India in 2023.

Previous System (Immediate Expensing):
In 2023, XYZ Corp could deduct the entire $150,000 from its taxable income.

New System (Amortization):
Over 15 Years: The $150,000 must be divided over 15 years because it’s a foreign expense.
Annual Deduction: $150,000 / 15 years = $10,000 per year.

Impact: In 2023, XYZ Corp can only deduct $10,000 of the $150,000 expense. The remaining $140,000 will be deducted in equal parts over the next 14 years.

VC funding based on revenue multiples and profit (😂😂😂) multiples is soon going to be obsolete. 

Common sense says company's valuation should be summation of yearly profits it can generate till the company exists... 

So if reliance has profit of 8 billion $ , market estimates that it's valuation should be around 25x multiple of its profit that is to say that if reliance keeps on generating same amount of profit for year on year, it will not exist after 25 years.

Now tell me, what shelf live does these VC funded startup have?

I honestly don't see all these tom dick and Harry mobile based and web based startups existing by end of this decade thanks to AI revolution.

People are still oblivion to what AI will do to white collar jobs 



Just out of curiosity, is there any single VC funded Indian startup in last 10-15 years which is immensely profitable ? 

Or for that matter any global giants like Amazon, Uber, Airbnb etc. which has turned profitable in Indian territory?

Why is Indian manufacturing so behind compared to China ?

Autocracy vs democracy. China got to manipulate its currency for two decades at a stretch - got it pegged at 6 remnibi to usd keeping exports cheap, influenced/lobbies/spied at the highest levels in the US government for decades (look up Larry Wu Tai). This meant unbelievably high USD inflow into China for decades. Chinese nationals who emigrate to US are loyal to China, steal IPs, some are even PLA trained - look up PLA members posing as students in ivy leagues. China pays up American profs to work for them (look up collaborations of Wuhan institute of virology). Their communist background helped since most American institutions are infiltrated by communists thanks to Russia paving the way - so much that they got US to dethrone ROC (Taiwan) from UNSC. Till today, US does not recognise Taiwan as an independent nation despite the grandstanding. Not saying this is all wrong, but they played geopolitics very well over decades and got loyal, nationalistic citizens.

2008 was a banking collapse that hit IT too.
This year first it was the Tech companies and now its the Banking, Financial Sector that is getting hit, making it the worst of all recessions.
And its expected to get worse with Fed likely to hike up interest rates.

Its like this year we are having the worst of both 2001 and 2008.
