Interview on weekend

I have an interview coming up next week, but since I work full-time, I can't do it during the week. Can I ask HR to schedule it only on a weekend? If they won't, I won't proceed 🤧 And how can I convince them for weekend 🥺

They won’t proceed, you gotta take a leave for it. Because just like you, even the interviewer will be working only in weekdays. They def wont agree on weekends. Don’t waste the opportunity for just the reason you can’t make time.

Have already done it before and my manager know that I'm trying to give interviews but they won't ask me anything in this, I can't face them doing this And even, I'm not very actively looking for job, it was kinda mock

Rescheduling interview at the last minute

Would you continue interviewing with a hiring manager who reschedules at the last minute? (less than 10 minutes to the interview) Context- A recruiter reached out, resume shortlisted and interview scheduled 3 days in advance but still interviewer asks for rescheduling at the very last minute! Think about it- You put efforts to manage time & ensure availability in the middle of the week but interviewer can’t even manage 30 minutes for an interview?

working post work hours and on weekends?

Context: I work at a startup, it's a pretty chill work environment, very flexible, hybrid model. Everything is great. Problem: They take flexible work hours too seriously, I have meetings at 10 PM on weekdays and almost every weekend there's some work which they need the next day in most cases but apparently have to keep the meeting on the weekend with no prior notice. I mean, i like going to office twice a week around 11-12 and coming back around 7, wfh when I have a few meetings that day but is it normal to work on weekends? and after work hours? P.S. I've only been in this company for a month and joined as a fresher. Now that I've put it down, this is such a gen z problem lol But what should I do?
