I randomly met a girl at a co-working space. I initiated the first conversation by asking, 'What do you do for a living?' She replied, 'I’m not working, I’m doing business in cost reduction and cost management for some companies. Once they gain profit, we get a share of that profit.' I was very interested in the topic and told her that I wanted to get involved. Now, I’m getting a call from her, saying that I need to invest up to 3 lakhs for a membership or dealership card. This will give me access to a team that can guide companies on cost management, helping them gain profit. Out of that profit, this group may get a share. How true is it?

Even I attended a Zoom call with them. Another girl joined, speaking in a posh accent, asking about life goals, dreams, where I see myself in 10 years, and what my wish list is. We are middle-class people. We never grow unless we resign from our jobs and start doing business—some kind of brainwashing thing, I understand. Finally, I asked them to show me their business model instead of just talking. They are not showing me anything. What they said is that I attended the Zoom call, and there will be two rounds. Once I am selected for those two rounds, then they will share the business model. After that, I have to invest up to 3 lakhs—something like that. I’m feeling terrible and anxious, not sure what to do now. I’m confused and don’t understand. If anyone has details, please let me know more.
