Is it okay to switch from Sales Admin to Business Analyst.

27M, Mohit here. I wanted to switch my career into a Business analyst from Sales Admin. Total YOE : 5 Business Analyst Experience : 1 yr (Not on records) Skills : Power bi, SQL, Tableau, SAP, IBM COGNOS, BPMN- ARIS, JIRA, little knowledge of python, Advance Excel. Actually I have a fair of my age, that whether or not I can get placed into a decent firm. Open for suggestions.

I am considering a Business Analyst role as a good fit for me. If there is something else I should apply for please let me know. Also some tips on how I can describe my work related to that role on my resume.

Hi Folks, Currently I was working as an operational team lead in TCS of Grade BPO 3 and I have an experience of 4 years out of which 1 year as a team lead and the same continues in TCS. So now I have feed up with this BPO jobs and want to switch to IT. After a deep research I came to know Business Analyst is the best platform to switch to IT from BPO. I am from Mechanical engineer background and want to settle as Business Analyst. Kindly requesting anyone to guide me the path of switching from BPO to Business Analyst and what skills and courses I need to do now? Also suggest me do I required to do MBA if so what course I need to choose in MBA? Please help me and guide me🙂

Hey everyone, So I have done my Bachelors in Engineering and I am thinking of switching to the role of Business Analyst. I was wondering if anyone could help me out wether it’d be a good idea or not also if I make the switch which skills or tools should I work on to make my profile look good or stand out. Other than that I am thinking of doing MBA so I am starting to prep for GMAT too so if you guys could give input on that would appreciate that. Thank you.
