Hi folks, looking seriously for a job switch in a strategy role.

Highlights about myself:
-> I have ~ 3.5 years of work ex.
-> Entrepreneurial stint in the wealth management space where we were trying to build an AI assistant to automate everyone' s personal finance. 
-> MBA From ISB post closing the startup due to regulatory slowdown 
-> Wanted to get a strategy/ PM role in the campus placement but, due to market conditions, got a job as program manager in a lending startup. I had high hopes from it but it turned out to be utter disappointment on many levels. 

I know the market is not great right now but I am optimistic that it's not that bad. 

Any help or referral would be really appreciated:)

Today, the markets have been bleeding across USA, Japan, India due to number of reasons contributing to it. War between iran- Israel, unemployment rate in USA going up, increase in interest rates in Japan which led to the worst decline of their stock markets in history. 
We were thinking that since now openings are coming up, situation could improve. Will the situation get worse from here in the upcoming days or is it too early to say?

Hired for golang made to php because they replaced whole team with new hires for golang only stuff.

Seeing php and reading documents and code I feel like quieting. 

Compromised on brand name, pay and work in the current company. I thought okay if joining on 14% hike but the work is in golang atleast for this market quality of work will be better. But now getting none.

Market seems to be bad if I quiet it might increase the career gap to a year.

I am trying to switch since last 2 months using naukri, instahyre, linkedin and cutshort and have only gotten calls from WITCH companies and other small service companies.

Every Newbie market participant wants the market to fall. 

People with some experience like me feel that markets are very stretched and it should fall. 

Even a seasoned trader/Investor would say that markets have gone up a lot and it should be correct.

Almost every participant is in the same boat hoping and waiting for a sudden fall to come any day 😂

I don't think markets are going to fall when everybody is cautious. It may remain in a broad range of 5-7% on both sides, frustrate a lot of participants until election and then move in either direction. Meanwhile stock specific movement will continue on the upside.

It's so funny that everyone is patiently waiting and hoping for a fall 😂

Now every tom dick and harry is talking about investing in market and earning great returns.
Are we in a bubble ? There is no easy money in markets but currently u will get lot of advice on which stocks to buy from everywhere.

This represents the worst of the ecosystem
All of it happened during the peak bull market. Creating a blue collar marketplace made sense in the bull-bharat era. 

The rounds happened in a peculiar way too, most top investors didn't even get the chance to evaluate. It was all too quick. Tiger came in quick succession. 

Ultimately, we're now saying "The VC's were terrible negotiators & left him with 50% board seats so they cannot fire him". Well, of course. 

VCs created the hype. VCs face the brunt.

NGL I truly miss the school days when I got to be myself and do well in life, I feel from then life has all gone downhill not scoring in 12th to not getting a good college. Even though I did all I possibly could in college via internships I could never wipe off the tag of a tier 3 student of my CV. Now in a mediocre job again comes the pressure of MBA. Every time I let loose life goes to a losers mindset and everything starts falling part.

I wish market was better and I could join an early stage startup🤒
