Its either politics or religion. No in between

Vision 2020 was once the most popular motivation for India. Our renewed Target is 2047 which is far from now. What are your thoughts on this? Are we on the right track? Can we achieve the dream of inclusive and developed India sooner ?

As an Indian citizen, I perceive that my understanding of Indian politics is minimal. When I engage in reading or watching the news, certain instances evoke anger or sadness, prompting me to ignore it altogether. Consequently, I often find myself at a loss when people discuss Indian politics. Does anyone else feel the same? How can I try to make a well-informed perspective and genuinely comprehend the nuances of Indian politics in an unbiased manner?

Imagine someone approached you and proposed this: they have an insurance policy for a car, but, you get to pay the lowest premium in the market. So you ask how, and they say, that this will cover your great grand child's first car, and you just have to pay premium until the child's born. Will you buy this insurance, now? No? Then why are you paying premium for an insurance policy that is supposed to cover your 'soul' once you are in your afterlife? I joined a new org a few months ago, from my observation folks who struggle at their job are the ones who form a group of similar people and indulge in gossip, they are always scheming and always on extra alert mode if anyone is listening to their conversation. All this seems to be childish while observing from a distance. I think if you are unhappy with your job you should prepare and switch. I'm curious if other people have had similar observations

This realisation is purely a selfish thing, which led me to think of reasons behind my friends supporting the BJP. I absolutely hate BJP's hate, religion, divide&rule politics, and I'm sure most BJP supporters themselves also hate that, but they don't have a choice like most of us. If you are supporting BJP, you fall in one of the following categories for sure: 1. Your family supports them, so you have to. 2. Someone in your family is a small/big BJP related politician. 3. You have seen/used the perks of supporting them i.e local influence. 4. You are a businessman/entrepreneur who benefited from their policies and believes they will help you further as well. 5. Brainwashed blind faith in Modi. 6. You are a Hindu and you blindly hate Muslims. 7. No trust in the opposition party. What other reasons? Tell me in the comments, what were your reasons to vote for the BJP. Now coming to my reason: I don't want to see the stock market bloodbath, i have invested a lot and for sure the market will go down 20-30% if the BJP loses. But glad i didn't vote for them.

I have been in a rewarding career in Chennai for about a decade. Came in as a fresher but now married and have 2 kids. Have an option to move to Noida now. Given cultural differences, elder kid now finds it difficult to adjust at school. Elderly parents dont find the weather and neighbors friendly enough to live with me for more than a month. Remain stuck in the apartment. People who have lived both in Chennai and Noida, please share your experiences on a cost of living and future career options in NCR perspective.

I’ve seen posts and memes all over social media on the recent titanic sub disaster. I realised anytime someone rich and successful is going through something bad everyone likes to laugh at it or they seem to celebrate it. Even when rich people do something for themselves we have the SJWs saying they could’ve end poverty , done this or that but the thing is it’s their money it’s up to them to decide what to do. We’ve got governments to look after the welfare of the people. Why hold rich and successful people accountable ? The argument can be made for normal people like you and me as well? Why stay in a posh locality in a good house when you could stay somewhere cheap ? Why use an iPhone rather than some ordinary one ? Why have investments when you can invest in on people ? Sounds dumb doesn’t it? So let’s just consider rich people as humans and not heroes or villains with what they do with their wealth.
