Job Search
Now that I am hiring, being on the other side has made me learn so many mistakes that I did/do (too) 1. Research (find at least 5 sites or people) about the position's playability 2. Ask that much, don't let imposter syndrome get better of you (I am guilty of this) 3. Do not share your current salary. If you are not desperately looking for a job, put your foot down. Give them an expectation (point 1) 4. Expected range - you want the higher number, HR sees the lower number 5. Don't over-follow up - I have had people reach out on multiple platforms within 24 hours of applying. Give a week's time. 6. Clean up your resume, no spelling mistakes. I have seen some very beautiful resumes *chumeshwari* 7. Sometimes, the recruiter doesn’t have all the answers; they are also not getting updates from teams. Please be patient
