Hey grapevine folks,

I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday.

I hope everyone one of you here once in your life have always thought about karma.

Ki if you are doing good deeds , being good to others will result in good karma and you will reap its benefits in future and vice-versa.

But is the above philosophy is valid in today's time in kaliyuga where the money and power rules.

People with connections are creating havoc over normal people.

Shouldn't we now think instead of making our karma good let's do what it takes us to be successful by hook or by crook?

What are your views? And if you have any personal experience please do share it.

Feels like I am stuck. 
I know the only way out is to grind and get out.
Not asking for sympathy but just asking given my recent few commitments towards my family (Just got blessed with a daughter, I don’t wanna compromise on missing her childhood days by just focusing on ny career growth)

To be honest sometimes I feel I am burnt out too. Running this race.

Sometimes the inner voice says one more last try.

Anyone else feels the same? Anything you guys want me to point to?

I joined mid Oct 2022 to this current firm. Hence I missed 2023 hike. And 2024 they are saying hikes would be pretty minimal too.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

It can be either a strange workplace policy, an altercation with a manager or absolutely anything else.

No More Layoffs at Paytm

Got laid off a few days back.
Now feeling a little helpless and tensed. 

The company's HR said that they are laying me off because of poor performance and they said that despite continuous feedback sessions (which they did not even conduct nor give me any suggestions/feedback) my performance did not improve. :)

You have ordered from these e-commerce companies. 
And we have all got refunded a bit more than the actual problem costed (genuine ones are correct)

My mother is strictly against it, saying we should compromise at times. 
This is just adding bad karma to our (life) account. 

But I think, these companies are sitting on millions and billions of money
If they cash out a refund of 150, it will not empty out their pockets.
Instead, we can order something next time for a little less expense.

Karma or BAU?

Was under a 3 month long process for an internship position at FAANG level company. Had multiple rounds of interview and breezed through all. Was on the last stage of the interview which was yet to be scheduled and received an email from the recruiter that I've been rejected because they have found better candidates who have completed all the rounds and I had one round remaining. A week back I shared my availability for the last round and was following up daily for the schedule but didn't receive any response from the recruiter end and now this. Such a shitty hiring process.
