Layoffs at Skill-Lync and no payment of last month salary
So basically they laid off the entire 90% of the team or I think 95% And now they are delaying the payment of the last month's working salary as well. Got to know that people who were laid off 3 months back received calls from HRs saying that they will get severance after 8 months now. Very horrible experience. One of the most shitty companies out there. I hope no one falls into their trap again.
If there are any VCs here, please know that the CEOs are not capable of running a business. They need to go back to school or join a company and learn the basics of running a business. Please don't let them destroy livelihood of thousands of employees and also students. They just know to make fake promises to not just investors but employees and even their customers.
What are you trying to say? That we don't need your funding and will reap huge benefits from agriculture for the rest of our life? Or even worse join TCS where you get peanuts? Heck no!! Even if they don't know how to run a company, they're finding money somehow and giving employment to people for atleast few months if not years ( in some cases ).
Not sure what's your real identity. But i can definitely vouch either you have no clue of working or have any liabilities or you're a fake account created by the founders. In both ways feel sorry for you. And I hope you find peace man.

Skill Lync CEO Surya just lied to TechCrunch!
His claim is only 20% employees were affected and the current employee strength is 900 which is not true. He denied the salary delay, I can share screenshot of email that employees received, if any journalist is interested. Very sad to see lies from management.

90% of the entire workforce?
Everything that can possibly go wrong with a business.
Hire 1000s of sales people when you don't need that many.
Create a sales strategy which promotes miss selling of products.
Don't have inhouse quality teams to check miss selling.
Give incentives on booked revenues instead of realised revenues.
Most importantly hiring a marketing person for leading sales team who screwed the whole company.
