Layoffs at a startUp

There is a second wave of layoffs happening at my company due to cost cutting. The irony is that even though our headquarters is in Bengaluru the CEO (indian citizen) stays in the UK, continuously traveling back and forth to India. Out of many other ways they could have done the cost cutting. They are doing this.
