Leave policies
Hey I have worked in 2 startups in my careers, In both places leave policies aren't that great. Just wanted to know what are policies in other workplaces
20 days/year vacation leave
12 days/year casual leave
15 days/year sickness/caregiver leave
Apart from the above there are some general offerings such as 10 public holidays, bereavement leaves, ml/pl leaves and sabbatical options.

Tell 2x advance for leave and if its a WFH half day is deducted from your leaves or salary if no leaves left.

20 paid leaves a year, never had any rejected
20 annual leaves and 15 sick leaves, but the worst part is you can only opt for sick leave if you are taking it for 3 or more continuous days. 🤮

Privilege 20 days (5 per quarter)
7 Casual
7 Sick
Primary Caregiver 180 days
Paternity 10 days
Max PL carry forward for a year 30 to be encashed at separation.
Unlimited leaves. Very very flexible leave policy. Just need to notify on slack a day or in some cases a few hours before. We get an additional week off from Dec 24-1st jan.

Unlimited leaves, no need approval, just team consensus.
Expectation is that you let your team know before you take any leaves (1 day, 3 weeks, etc)
45 days on paper. But I need to just DM the team whenever I need a leave.
How many leaves do I take after having practically unlimited - maybe 20
