Less than 50 days left to end 2023, What did you achieve this year?

How many of you were able to achieve your career/other goals for 2023? Share your stories!

"It's that time of the year again—counting accomplishments. I came across a Twitter trend about such posts, and it's heartening to read about people achieving so much, including celebrating those seemingly small victories. As the year ends, I acknowledge those who may not have such so-called accomplishments; I hear you. This year felt monotonous for me, with neither highs nor lows, but looking back, I'm content. The year is over, and I'm optimistic about doing better and executing my plans in the coming year. Life is good, even when it feels stagnant. Don't be disheartened; it gets better. I've had some of my worst years, but they were followed by great ones. This especially goes out to young individuals entering the workforce—your favorite company or desired CTC might be just around the corner. Keep at it. Survival is the biggest achievement.

What's the one thing you had wanted to change / start / stop doing this year - call it resolution at the beginning of the year? How are you doing on that? I wanted to get into a better rhythm on fitness and sustain the good eating habits from last year. Where am I? After a wasted JFM quarter, did somewhat okay in Apr, May and June. July has been not too bad. Baby steps: trying to get 3-4 hours in a week for fitness. I have realised habit formation is a function of stacking. When I workout on Saturday, I want to go to the gym on Sunday too and then on Monday and Tuesday and so on.. When I miss 2 days in a row, then I degrade to saying okay, let's start on Sunday - as a fresh week. Trying to break out of that and convincing myself today is as good as Sunday. :P Definitely improved, but a long way to go. Would love to know about others here on and hope to get more inspiration. As they say, one day at a time. So do you want to wait till Jan'24? :)

Would love to hear your one liner on 2023 wrt world. My take : increasing extremism on either side. I felt we are seeing this trend increase exponentially in almost everything around us.

Within 40 minutes, we are waving bye to 2023 , it actually taught me a lots of things -somethings were great ,somethings were worse , but whatever it is , that's making me stronger day by day , I hope 2024 will bring the best out of me as I am trying to work on myself and I hope guys it will be great for you too New goals , New Challenges , New opportunities , New People , New life is waiting ahead!! We're in the second half of 2024, so how are you doing with your goals and resolutions? - I've been journaling since 31st dec and only missed four days, so that's a W. - I've also cut my screen time from 7.5 hours to 4 hours, which I'm pretty happy about. - Saving money? Not so great—still a WIP. How about you?
