Leverage during post sabbatical salary negotiation

I plan to take a sabbatical/career break. Financing & emergency funds taken care of (6 months to 12 months) Now, at some point at the end of my sabbatical, I will anyway be back to the job hunt & technically there is not a CCTC, but only a "last drawn salary' that recruiters will get to hear from me. CCTC Is of course NIL. Question: 1. do recruiters tend to lowball when it is a 'last drawn CTC' instead of a "current CTC"? 2. any personal/first hand experience on: anyone loosing leverage when you are on a sabbatical and negotiating salary? as compared to the leverage WHILE having a current CTC & negotiating an offer? I have 10+ YoE in tech/IT and am not looking for 'salary negotiation advice' in general. I am specifically seeking advice on the nuance of: leverage while being able to quote CCTC vs leverage while having a 'last drawn CTC' - purely from a, post sabbatical job hunt perspective. thanks in advance.
