I have 17 yr experience, director sales in adtech & finally made an 1 pager resume. I totally love it. But will it be looked down to be too simple?

1 page resumes are great! It helps bring attention to the key elements that an interested party would look for. I would also suggest a two step approach, where your 1-page resume acts as the main highlights to peak interest, with a link to your LinkedIn profile provided within. LinkedIn profile can contain ALL the details of you work/relevant experience.

So, If they are interested to know more, they can access your LinkedIn profile. resume - cricket highlights reel. LinkedIn - full match replay

This should work because with your experience, you wouldn't necessarily be one amongst millions of job applicants, and that you will be applying to leadership/high level/specialized roles. The hiring team should be having a little more personalized approach to someone with your experience.

Most of the 10+yoe resumes run in pages πŸ₯², it can be as long as necessary to cover all relevant information.

Yup it's the 1 page per 10 years rule that applies.

Feel free to make it longer but keep it short and crisp too πŸ™‚
