Looking for VCs or Angels for a Small Investment of 20 Lakhs.

Hey, I've started a fleet management company I.e we take cars from owners give them out for rent and make a good chuck of margin out of it. We are going the Franchise route to expand faster. At this stage we need a little bit of investment to get to market aggressively. Our revenue for 23 - 24 is 35 Lakhs, we are projected to hit 55 - 60 lakhs this financial year. Apart form the investment looking for a good team cause it has only been me since the beginning.

From last 15 days I am having a startup idea with no big players, emerging market in India, anyone interested to discuss or give suggestions for it. Field is cab services.

Been long since I wrote here. A casual post to discuss anything startup/VC related. Which startups are doing good, which ones not too good. Especially if you're a founder - how is the market feeling? My pov: despite the excess capital with VCs, funding is still very much dry. For a bit during the last year, there was a flurry of investments in SaaS and AI. Even that has dried up now. Slowest I have seen. Why: I think there's no push factor to invest, there's a lack of people starting up (vs. previous years). Awaiting some inflection point, so that things kickstart again.

I am building a D2C fashion brand and need to raise money (20 Lakhs) to get things off the ground. I am from Tier-I IIT and a single founder. I have been trying to approach investors through multiple mediums. Cold mailing / LinkedIn. But things haven't worked. College alumni also don't seem to respond, let alone give any warm intro. How should I go about the fund raising process?

What should I do to reach 100 cr in 10-15 years? I'm an ambitious person who can work his ass off. But I lack direction, I don't know what I should do to get there. Any answer can give me a better perspective. But please refrain from questioning the ambition. Hi guys, what do you think of car rental business, idea is to start with 1-2 second hand cars. I have someone very trusted who will drive it on a profit sharing basis, would like to understand it from the people who might have done this business in the past or are currently doing. Scope- daily intra city, outstation, intercity, trips, special events (wedding) Areas of concerns- Total time required for break even, insurance, maintenance, monthly reconciliation of the earnings, any other tail event

Kya dikat hai bhai, udane do paisa. Tumhare thodi hai. Good firms genuinely perform well and return money. The ecosystem is not forgiving -- you don't survive very long if you don't create any big wins. It's an extremely high stress job with very little WLB. You do make money but it comes at a cost. Layoffs are sad but at least those jobs existed in the first place? They wouldn't without VC money. India's VC scene is extremely young and it'll take time before we produce a Google. Entrepreneurs are not always right, they are not always nice either; but they definitely are courageous.

So I have 10L in cash and I can take loan for commercial investment. Some examples could be - ev bike or scooty agency - flat that can be given on rent - marriage hall etc.
