 You can also explore getting loan/debt personally through banks under your name. 
  
 Also apply for startup India seed fund and grant schemes. You might get some money through there. Can apply through the official govt website.

Hey, 
I've started a fleet management company I.e we take cars from owners give them out for rent and make a good chuck of margin out of it. 
We are going the Franchise route to expand faster. At this stage we need a little bit of investment to get to market aggressively. 
Our revenue for 23 - 24 is 35 Lakhs, we are projected to hit 55 - 60 lakhs this financial year.
Apart form the investment looking for a good team cause it has only been me since the beginning.

Been long since I wrote here. A casual post to discuss anything startup/VC related. Which startups are doing good, which ones not too good. 
Especially if you're a founder - how is the market feeling? 

My pov: despite the excess capital with VCs, funding is still very much dry. For a bit during the last year, there was a flurry of investments in SaaS and AI. Even that has dried up now. Slowest I have seen.

Why: I think there's no push factor to invest, there's a lack of people starting up (vs. previous years). Awaiting some inflection point, so that things kickstart again.

Kya dikat hai bhai, udane do paisa. Tumhare thodi hai. 

Good firms genuinely perform well and return money. The ecosystem is not forgiving -- you don't survive very long if you don't create any big wins. It's an extremely high stress job with very little WLB. You do make money but it comes at a cost.

Layoffs are sad but at least those jobs existed in the first place? They wouldn't without VC money. India's VC scene is extremely young and it'll take time before we produce a Google. Entrepreneurs are not always right, they are not always nice either; but they definitely are courageous.

Unpopular Opinion: VCs get a lot of crap for no reason

VCs kill many startups with unrealistic targets that the main problem. Not every business is designed to give ultra quick returns VCs want . They ruin well potential startups

Hi guys, I will describe my situation—

Introduction—
1. I work at an MNC that pays me monthly 74k.
2. I have 2 yoe in fontend development and I like my work excpet the only thing that makes me not like my work is the constant reminder of deadlines.
3. I therefore feel like doing a side hustle like a business and after some point leave my job.

Idea—
1. Start a vending machine business in India.
2. While there are few companies which have started this business in India in the past 2 years. I see a growing market in the future here.

Finance-
1. I have around 1.54L in mutual funds and around 60-70k in my bank account.
2. A vending machine costs around 2L and operating it will cost around another 15-20k in products.

I need a suggestion on a plan on how I can start the business with the amount of money I have.

my goal- I come from a very lower middle class family, I want to be the greatest man my bloodline has seen . I worked realy hard to get the job, but I don’t feel like I should be here.

Currently at mid-mvp stage fintech startup looking for pre-seed funding to resume their progress. Does this qualify the requirements to achieve a pre-seed funding ? I bootstrapped the startup myself at the beginning and we have not yet reached the stage where we can present a MVP for investors which is a huge setback we are currently facing. I tried to apply to few Indian based pre-seed ventures but all I got was just rejection mails not sure why. Prepared a pitch deck and a company structure profile although all our employees are remote. I just don't know who or how to approach an angel investor or a ventures firm so lacking expertise in this field. Suggestions would be appreciated ☺️
