Option 1: internship Option 2: Associate product role.

How?

Target startups, reach out to founders directly via email, Linkedin. Do detailed homework on startup and come with one pager on areas where they can improve or ideas and how you can add value. Write to them, people are helpful.

Do this for 5 startups a day for the next 20 days, you will get your opportunity.

Wish you all the best.

Thanks for your advice and wishes. Can I contact the product and Hr people of various companies and startups also for this? Like directly reaching out to senior product managers? Do we need a sound knowledge of programming to become PM?

I love to do managerial roles in the company. Taking responsibility and being part of the decision-making community. I have gone through the profile of PM and felt the inclination to their role and I strongly believe that I can contribute. It is the combination of both engineering and management. I still learning about the product roles. Completed Nptel course and got an elite certificate with included in the top 5 percent category. But I know with only the certificate, I can't get into the Pm roles. So I ask for guidance.
