My hustle mindset backfired and Lost all,but am happy

I got into a startup (informal) and invested my savings and also took loan from friends and family.

It would take a couple of years to clear up but I am happy thwt I didn't let go.of the opportunity and the learnings also realised the following. 1.I enjoyed the thrill 2.When something has to go wrong,It will 3.My priorities changed (family, health, mental peace) 4.I am enjoying what I have more than ever and not cribbing about what I don't have.

I am about to touch 40 and lose all savings(instead loans on the head) but I have never felt so calm ;)

Anyone with a similar life altering experience 😉

@Angrybirdd - would you pls throw more light on this topic. How did you invest in this startup and how much? Also what would be the main learnings from this ?

By the sound of it, looks like they invested major capital for sure.

What the startup was about doesn't matter in this context. Learning listed in the post.... And some additional below

  1. Shit happens and whatever happens, you have to embrace it with a positive mind and work towards what's best for you.

  2. You will lose your mind, overpowered by your insecurities but you have to gain control of yourself and bounce back...no matter what, the past has passed and you cannot lose your present over the past and screw your future.

  3. Also don't lose your hustle mindset.... You never know when you hit the jackpot.

4.Sometimes I do get into anxiety mode, but then I have prioritised my family, health, peace

5.I have navigated 13 months with all this shit and I survived so I will survive more and I m working on myself now rather than any other venture.

  1. I will again get into a hustle with my learnings but will work on the risk mitigation measures more....

As said in the Shark tank "Down but not out" 😔

What was the startup? How did you loose it? Do you have kids 😨

I would not like to go deep into what it was was and how I lost.... It would be a long story ( shorter verysion don't give the right perspective) and I don't have kids and nor do I intend to have 😉

Do you have any regrets?

It can be anything related to not doing something you always wanted to but never did, a mistake you realize you shouldn’t have made, or feelings of not being successful enough. Feel free to share your thoughts.
