My stupidity spoiled my interview at zomato today

So as I am constantly looking for entry level product roles and preparing for GRE together, i somehow received call from Zomato's hiring team yesterday that my interview is scheduled at 11 am today for ZAAP ( Zomato associate accelerator program) . I joined the interview via google meet , the role was based on customer experience aka customer delight where if you will perform well you can get to join other roles such as program management , growth etc. after 8-10 month or an year , there were some hypothetical situations that interviewer given to us while dealing with customers and instead of focusing on how should I present myself in front of customers, deal with them etc , i started giving the solutions for improving the products that would reduce the customer complaints and took some guesstimates into consideration, although my solution was unique where I also added that how apart from refund or replacement for their orders if they are disappointed, we could also provide reimbursement to them via giving coupon codes of blinkit where they could order ready to eat snacks instead of missing order if time was actually a constraint for them but i realised that at the end They were looking for my communication and grammar which is good but i didn't focus much on that instead of solving the problem in a whole product management consulting way , to to them

Now I am regretting so much , it was a good opportunity to be a part of growling team but i f**king lost it , i failed to answer in the way that how should I approach it as a customer service associate but instead i assumed various scenarios that people use to solve case studies in management consulting/product interviews Ek to getting an interview is a tough thing and then the blunder mistake like this

I swear this is me in most interviews. What helped was realising interview skill is different to actual work on the job I have few questions I refer everytime before i join an interview But heres the only one to look at just before interview "What is the role title and what actually i think they are looking for, based on job description "

I think it was one of the biggest mistakes i did , i searched about this role yesterday and there were questions mostly about what you would do if a customer is angry and his order was delayed etc but instead of answering about calming him down , offering replacement etc , I went for frameworks , analytics and metrics to solve the problem so that customer didn't face it again or you can say my solution was focused on improvement Zomato's product as a whole instead of addressing the queries of customer

Upcoming Frontend Interview at Zomato

Hello everyone, I wanted to share that I have a Front-End (SDE 1) interview scheduled at Zomato in a couple of days. The interview process will consist of three rounds: two technical interviews, and the final round will be with someone from the management team. This last round will be conducted in person at their Gurugram office. I'm curious about what the interview process for a Front-End Engineer at Zomato entails. Do they still ask questions related to Data Structures and Algorithms for the Front-End role? I do know that they even ask about system design for an SDE 1 position. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated.
