Negotiate termination: can I ask org to keep me on payroll for 2 months?
Instead of terminating me immediately with 2 months' pay, can I ask them to keep me employed till max 2 months while I search for a job and if I land one, then they won't have to pay me for the full 2 months. Is such an arrangement common? My performance feedback is not good and manager is really disappointed in me. Small fintech MNC joined less than 6 months ago.
If you will join startups then layofyf will happen for sure. Dunzo is already in loss what else you can expect from them.
Even if you ask your current organization to keep on payroll, they won't agree. They want the person in PIP or under performed employee to exit ASAP. This you have to accept there is no other choice.
