Have you all heard about the mass layoff in Saarthi.ai? I have heard rumours that the company was not able to pay its employees, and many salaries are still on hold. There were also some claims by its CEO involving a stolen passport. Does anyone have clarity on that or any updates? It would be great if you could share your first-hand experience.

Saarti.ai, an AI based tech support startup hasn't paid salary to their employees since March'23. They have been giving fake hopes that employees (140+ folks) will receive it soon and all. But their pockets are empty. The most interesting part, the senior management is still getting paid, but others aren't. 

Employees are scared to call this out as they are worried that they won't get the backlog salary. 

PLEASE SHARE THIS AS MUCH AS YOU CAN ON ALL THE PLATFORMS. These people should be answerable

The founder had reached out to me sometime back requesting to put some amount in his startup, his product looks interesting but I never really liked his behaviour and chose to pass on this investment and I can now say that it was the right decision. The founder is infamous for his attitude, you guys should see his pitch in a show called Horse's Stable (Shark Tank before Shark Tank launched) on YouTube where he lashes out at one of the panelists/sharks on asking him a few tough questions.

As an ex-Ultrahuman employee, I can confirm that you don’t want to work there. 
  
 The culture is cut throat. I was there for an year and I got a total of 3 weekends where I didn’t touch my laptop. 
  
 Credit where its due, founders and people are amazing, it’s just that the expectations are so high that you are constantly overworked.

Classplus is falling apart. The CTO, CBO and VP-Business have resigned from the company amidst rumours around financial irregularities. Classplus now joins a long list of Indian startups caught amidst fraud/financial irregularities allegations. Classplus was last valued $600Mn in their last funding round and counts Tiger Global, Falcon Edge, Peak XV (formerly Sequoia India) as their investors.

- The deal is not yet finalized and may not proceed. 
- Dharma Productions has been actively seeking investments, while Saregama aims to bolster its content and movie catalogue. 
- Saregama's acquisition could leverage Dharma’s industry relationships and project capabilities. 
- Dharma's FY23 revenue stood at ₹1,044.16 crore, with a profit of ₹10.69 crore, while Saregama had a revenue of ₹7,90.3 crore, with a net profit of ₹1,85.1 crore.
