Fynd is putting people on PIP, since they don't want layoffs otherwise they will have to pay severance.
Also remaining members appraisal is also blocked, they change their policies overnight and now say will only give a hike to those who joined 9 months back. 
Even leads and HR have no clue.

Almost 50% of the org got no increments
People with "exceeds" rating got single digit increments
Only promotion cases have got early to mid double digit increments
Promotions have been significantly fewer this time, max people have been told to hold off their expectations of promotions for another year

The reasons cited were economic slowdown, other companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, swiggy, Amazon doing the same and cost cutting. I think things are getting toxic and the majority of employees have been left disappointed.

I saw many open position in fynd last month but this month there's nothing, also I read some posts here regarding hiring freeze at fynd here, so just wanted to know if all of them are true I. E. If fynd has really gone on hiring freeze and layoffs? Can any employee confirm it?

I have heard there is no yearly hike at Publicis Sapient , is it true. Last year  also they have not provided any hike. Can anyone confirm what's happening why it's not providing. Is this process is there in PS. 

If hike going to given means when it will be and how much it will be. I joined 2yrs back in PS.

Got an offer from them 6 months ago . Didn't join as their business didn't look sound . They said to me that they are building a UPI app I was like phonpe & paytm are already there na ! 
I expected some layoffs from slice as they were giving pretty high packages and a lot of over hiring.
But surprisingly I didn't hear anything like that even though many start-ups which have stronger business models than slice are laying off.

What's up with SLICE ???

Heard that Paytm is planning to layoff 10% of entire work force. Across all levels.

Heard cases that folks who were hired at market premium less than 30 days ago are now being asked to leave the organisation. 

And the layoffs will be hidden under the guise of mid year appraisals. #PaytmKaro

I'm working at payU payment from 2 years and from last two years they are giving the increments in single digit, is the market is bad ? Last year I got 4% increment I was informed by my manager that company is not doing good same has happened this year again I got only 4% incriment. In my team I have seen people are getting 8-10% also and in other team few have got 12% also, however I feel even 12% is the highest still it seems too low. is this is happening everywhere or it's just payU?

Do you guys think PIP is a tool for layoffs ?

Layoffs started in April which are still continuing. CEO says in all hands that reason for many people leaving Yubi is not because of cost cutting, also says they are going ahead with hikes & bonuses.  On last day of June payout when hikes/bonuses were expected HR announces that hike/bonuses will come in July payout. Diplomatically they just told that some people will get 0 hikes/bonuses. They want project to Go-live in 2 months but can't complete hike/bonus process in 2 months ?

Very high chance that they will give zero hikes/bonus to all employees this year.  HR recently started this shoot out thing where names of good performing employees is called out. What for ? Are they giving any benefits to employees? Vacation leaves are reduced. CEO lies openly.

 They just  seem to be making fool of employees.

Yubi fooling employees ?

Is there any one from Paytm , who can confirm if there’s a silent layoff happening there. I have an offer as SSE , but have heard from multiple people that work culture is detoriating very fast and almost 20% are undergoing PIP.

Hello viner,
A co worker of mine has been put on PIP by the company HR based on her managers feedback. Even though she got an average rating ,she did not get along well with the Manager and he got the HR to put her into PIP. HR here mostly follow what department leads tell them.

But there are some discrepancies :
1) HR has not formally sent her a email informing of the PIP procedure. This is all verbal
2) Her manager also hasn't given her any concrete milestones. He just said that she will be judged based on the feedback from fellow co workers.
3) Of late, the HR has been forcing her to resign even though the final date of pip period has not been reached.

Is this the normal PIP procedure followed in your companies too? 
Or is there something suspicious here?
