I have been on grapevine for some months now and this is the best community building app I have ever seen I can talk my heart out and the people here actually come out to support and share their journey and experiences as well. Hats off to the founder who has made grapevine

Posting this after getting so many good and bad comments ! Making a survey or creating a post regarding election is bad ? Am not supporting any individual or party still people’s saying andh bhakt, IT CELL etc etc ! Whoever having hatred speech against me ! Remember it’s you who is running from truth not me ! Hey Folks, On the onset , I would like to welcome all the new members who joined Grapevine over last few days. Grapevine is a nice platform and I really hope all of you will enjoy great conversations and viewpoint on this community . Now to the point why gatekeeping might become essential : I heard some days back , a good man on YouTube posted a video telling his fans about this awesome community. That is why you might have seen outburst of ‘ this is a nice platform ‘ posts on Grapevine. They also thank him in the body of the post xD. Honestly , I am fed up of this non sense posts And my timeline is already cluttered due to this. Now his followers will start highjacking the community. Right now , this being a professional platform , the posts were interactive and decent to read. Now don’t be surprised if you see posts irrelevant to the community. I remember same thing happening with r/developersIndia community some years back and right now , that sub is kinda dead and have repetitive kind of questions which can easily be found if you have taken the effort to search for the posts. Secondly, I won’t be surprised in case their is a difference of opinion with the Guru , people or his followers will start you bashing left , right and centre. I know this post sounds rude and entitled since everyone should have fair opportunity in life , but definition of fair varies as well. I’m very interested in knowing the POV of everyone involved here - may be I am over thinking. But would appreciate your thoughts on this .

Generally fishbowl has too many service company or consultants kinda employees. Talking about content, it is high quantity and quality is degrading. And there are too many posts so no one read them along with that only 1-2 comments on many posts. it's content is of no use at all. I find fishbowl useless now and would not want grapevine to evolve at all like that. Views??

Last 8 years have taught me that we are in the greatest momentum bet of this country's life time. So, don't rule out India. Build in India. Invest in India. Believe in India. I legitimately find it concerning that so many Grapeviners are not just conservatives but outright Sanghis who betray their intelligence with 5th standard debate tactics or just outright hate. Some quick pointers before you come at me with pitchforks 1) I voted for Modi in 2014 but then from 2019 onwards I changed my mind (more on that later) 2) Almost everyone here belongs to the urban elite who have voted for BJP. However, the so-called educated elite feels that the everyday uneducated common man is dumb. Education does not equal intelligence (correlated yes, but not an indicator). If you don't like how a significant portion of India you never see or interact with voted, tough luck, welcome to democracy. 3) Also is this result, really so bad? It's stupid to think that the BJP as the sole ruling party is good for the country. Great for your stocks on the Sensex and MFs but not for the actual common man. They are the silent majority who make the country run and they just let everyone know that although there has been an economic boom, they have been left out. 4) Take a chill pill. The India story is still alive and well. In fact, having some diverse voices can help a democracy. Not ram-rodding bills that everyone from farmers to jobless youth hate can be good. You just have to learn to play with others & listen for once. Finally, I supported Modi because I was tired of Congress shenanigans and I supported him up to demonetisation. However, the blatant horse-trading, the weaponisation of ED, Hindu vs <insert religious minority> rhetoric and the lack of any balls to face unscripted questions in TEN years made me change my mind. PS: The knee-jerk reaction of every sanghi here is to deploy "What about X & Y", I will not respond to any of those arguments because that's just a week cop-out. Judge yourselves on your own merits, not that you are somehow less evil. Jai Hind. Jai Bharath. Aam Aadmi Zindabad.
