I worked with an early stage startup for 3.5 Years. Since this January they started facing a fund crunch and delayed our salaries. I left the job in May but till date they haven't paid me 3 months salary. Upon asking they say they don't have funds to pay salary, we will pay when we close our funding round. What should I do in this case. Should I wait and hope they will pay or just forget about it any suggestions?

Saarti.ai, an AI based tech support startup hasn't paid salary to their employees since March'23. They have been giving fake hopes that employees (140+ folks) will receive it soon and all. But their pockets are empty. The most interesting part, the senior management is still getting paid, but others aren't. 

Employees are scared to call this out as they are worried that they won't get the backlog salary.

Hiring for a bunch of roles for an early stage startup. Salaries of people who have been laid off is through the roof

2-3 years experience asking for 30-40l and while we chose not to judge the experience and spoke to a few of them, most of them are not even worth half of the pay. 

Many are jobless since last 2-3 months and none of them are willing to take a paycut of even 5-6L and are willing to stay jobless ( probably have a ton of savings )

Market correction is necessary.

What's wrong with salaries

If you are paid less, don’t extrapolate it on others. If they are willing to wait, let them. You should keep praying for “corrections”.

So this company posted a job listing on LinkedIn looking for a UX Designer with minimum 1-2 years of experience, who will have to commute to office everyday since it’s an on-site job and will get no work devices from office so he/she will have to bring their own devices too. I have been working as engineering manager in a startup. I was promised remote job but now company calling to office location. In current year, the company didnt give more then 5% salary growth and keep promising growth in the future as company grows but do founders or top management really care about employees? 

I seen one of my ex company its happening but not sure if founders really keep their promises about employees will get salary growth as company grows. I feel they take lavish salary but keep the employees underpaid.

Let me know your thoughts or your own experience. Work life balance is good though so I don’t want to really leave the company it actually it happens

Now, one of the the primary investor is taking his role of GOTO CEO. Investor being CEO is worrisome 😞 

And this is just 2-3 days after Pune office shutdown and 3rd round of layoff.

1.EGM meeting starts at 9 am
2.Allegedly Byju/pro Byju supporter leaked the zoom call meeting.
3.Random folks joined the meeting.
4.Whistles, hooting and sharp noises for next 45 mins.
5.Participants are asked to leave: They bombard chat with “we want byjus sir”, “byju is the heart of the company”
6.Meeting gets called off
7. 4 key investors file a suit at NCLT at 1 pm

Lot of good people quit including great people
Then, they had a second lay off 
Some  great people in the leadership quit.
Middle management people are quitting every day.
Only engineers and other people who are not able to get jobs are remaining 
They shut down majority of US acquisitions
They are trying to sell some of them like Tynkr and Epic
Not able to raise funding till now even though trying since December 
Sales is down 90% 
New Inside Sales process is not working 
They are out of runway.

This is a BLR based gaming “startup” that employs more than 300 people.
They delay salaries on the last day of month at 4:30pm by making an HR newbie to post a random ass sorry message.

What are the employees supposed to do?
Isn’t salary disbursement the highest priority task for a finance team ?

These morons boast a “Great Place to Work” tag on their main door.
What a waste 😂
