Should I use my office for personal purpose? Is there any policy regarding that?
Do whatever you want afyer assuming that everything you do on that office laptop is being recorded in company and is their property. No matter what the policy says...
I knew my laptop does not tracking as such, and have used it once upon a time but only "safe for work" purposes like Netflix, personal gmail etc..no document was ever saved on desktop.
See, as long as it is like simple things like checking email and browsing through the news, and also few google searches
These are harmless and many employers do allow it.
But if you’re really not sure, don’t bother doing any of these, just get yourself a new one
