TLDR 1. Satya did tv interviews and was fine if Altman goes back to OpenAI 2. Salesforce’s Marc Benioff wrote a tweet saying he’ll match compensation of any OpenAI team member who wants to join Salesforce 3. Of some 750+ employees, 700 will move to Microsoft (with Sam) in case Sam doesn’t return. That’s insane. 4. Vinod Khosla an early investor in OpenAi tweeted that all the openai employees should quit in case their board members don’t resign 5. Interim ceo of openai Emmett Shear (formerly of Twitch) called for emergency all hands on Sunday and apparently no one turned up

I know everyone’s talking about Nadella’s impressive grab of Altman and his guys and the inevitable fall of OpenAI. But has anyone given thought to the possible for all AGI for public good? How autonomous is this R&D group really now that Altman is just another big tech employee. I worry for the future of GPTs and its open source nature. Gork is yet to prove itself to GPT-4. But Bing has never had a better chance to surpass Google than this. Interesting to see how Google react.(js) (lol)
-> Sam Altman back to OpenAI! https://twitter.com/satyanadella/status/1727207661547233721

Sam's firing was so abrupt and sudden, it shocked the whole world, but even more shocking is him joining Microsoft. I don't know what's gonna happen to Open AI but Microsoft is gonna be the most influential TECH-GIANT Well played Satya.
-> OpenAI fires Altman & Brockman -> Microsoft & OpenAI investors try to get both back -> OpenAI hires Emmett Shear/Microsoft hires Altman & Brockman -> 500/700 OpenAI employees tell the board to resign
