PM - D2C consumer product
I'll be soon shifting from a B2B SaaS early stage to an early-growth stage D2C consumer product startup. I am one of the early hires in the product function. While I understand that there is a significant difference in the role and responsibilities of a PM in both the positions, I couldn't find many resources available online to help with this. Would love to hear opinions from both B2B and D2C PMs on the difference in their roles. Would also appreciate any tips and advice for my new role. Thanks!
Unless you were building primarily internal tools and now are moving to a consumer facing product, there isn’t a crazy amount of difference.
