PM job market?

Looks like PM job market is the most difficult one to crack now. Almost every application has an avg of 500+ applicants. Anyone receiving any calls off late? Or the budget allocation for quarters is on hold till US elections are done? Haven't seen such draught.

How bad is the PM job market in India?

I have been talking to two of my seniors 1 from ISB and 1 from IIM. Two different individuals from different companies.. Both are out of job for more than 4 months now. They are not getting any calls from more than a month and the ones that interview was given and went till last satge are now ghosting.. so just want to understand how's the market currently.. My company is also under financial stress and that's causing me panic..

Hardly getting any calls for PM roles. Is the market really cold? Or AI rejections are taking over potential interview callbacks?? I see a 10/10 match with my profile for a JD but eventually get rejection mail even for screening/shortlisting, I suspect AI rejection is taking over. Appreciate Any thoughts and tips in such frustrating times.
