PMP Certification worth?
As a persuing PMP candidate : learning is worth, it gives lot of insights in a elaborate way and it also teaches you to do PM in a systematic/structured approach .
But you need experience in PM else it'll be like subject you studied in your college or school curriculum to get the certificate..

CAPM is entry level of PMP
PRINCE2 is softer version of PMP mostly related to IT projects
If you are in operations six sigma is one alternative
